This page helps publishers using the Bidease SDK complete the Data Safety section of their app's Google Play Console listing. It describes what data the Bidease SDK collects and transmits, and how, so publishers can accurately answer Google Play's Data Safety form for the portion of their app's behavior attributable to this SDK.
As the app developer, you are responsible for how you respond to Google Play's Data Safety form regarding your app's own data practices - this page covers only what the Bidease SDK itself does.
The Bidease SDK automatically collects and transmits the following data types for advertising delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention purposes:
| Data type | How the Bidease SDK uses this data |
|---|---|
| Advertising ID (GAID) | Collected to serve and measure targeted advertising, and to support fraud and bot detection. |
| IP address | Collected for ad delivery routing and fraud/bot detection. May be used to approximate location. |
| Device attributes (OS, model, screen size, carrier) | Collected to correctly format ads for the device and to support fraud/bot detection and analytics. |
| Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks, viewability, dwell time) | Collected to measure ad performance, support billing, and detect fraudulent activity. |
| Crash logs and diagnostics | Collected to maintain SDK stability and monitor performance. |
All data transmitted by the Bidease SDK is encrypted in transit using TLS.
The Bidease SDK does not collect a list of other applications installed on the device.
Advertising ID, IP address, device attributes, and ad interaction data may be transferred to demand-side platforms, ad exchanges, and attribution/measurement partners for the purposes of ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention. Crash logs and diagnostic data are used internally and by Bidease's service providers only, and are not shared with third parties.
Collection of the Advertising ID is subject to standard Android controls - users can reset or limit ad tracking at any time through their device's Advertising ID settings.
To request deletion of data associated with a specific user, email [email protected] including: the app's Bundle ID, the device's Operating System, and the applicable advertising identifier (GAID). Requests submitted without this information may take longer to process or may not be completable.
